Understanding your visa costs

How accurate is the visa cost calculator?
The calculator uses sourced fee records for a specific passport, destination, visa category and age. A verified breakdown means all mandatory fees in that recorded application process are known. It is a planning estimate, not an invoice or a guarantee of eligibility.
Does the total include service centre fees?
Known mandatory centre charges are listed separately and included. If a required charge or its applicability depends on the centre and is not verified, the result stays partial. Your application location is not inferred from your passport.
Why does the fee depend on my passport?
Some nationalities have reduced fees under specific agreements. Visa-free access, fee waivers and travel authorizations also have different conditions. A standard adult fee is never automatically applied to every passport.
Are eVisa and ETA fees included?
Yes, where a current sourced fee is available for your route. Electronic visas, travel authorizations and visas on arrival are shown as distinct entry categories. Each applicable payment is listed separately.
Can children pay a different visa fee?
Yes. When the recorded fee depends on age, enter each traveler’s age in completed years at application. The calculator checks each person against the relevant age category; it does not assume that all countries use the same child age limit.
Why does the result sometimes say “At least”?
At least is a known minimum. For example, a verified application fee plus an unverified mandatory service charge cannot produce an exact total. The missing charge is listed, and the final amount may be higher.
Are optional courier and premium services included?
Optional services are excluded from the mandatory total. Where their fees are verified, you can select them to see a separate total with extras. Unverified optional services cannot be priced or selected.
How often are visa fees updated?
Each fee source shows its actual verification date. Records older than 90 days are marked for review; records older than 180 days, expired records and conflicting categories are excluded from current calculations. Confirm the final fee on the official application website before paying.
