Every round is a small discovery.
Place a marker, adjust it, then lock your guess. The closer you are to the city, the more points you earn. Try World Trip to connect ten revealed cities into your own journey.
How are distance and points calculated?
Distance uses the great-circle Haversine formula, not pixels. Guesses within 15 km earn 1,000 points. Beyond that, points decrease smoothly: about 850 at 100 km and 480 at 500 km. Accuracy is your points as a percentage of the maximum. Guesses within 300 km build your streak.
What is World Trip?
Ten cities across several continents become a route as you reveal them. At the end, review every guess and see your route distance separately from your guessing error. This is a game route, not a flight itinerary.
Can I play on a phone or with a keyboard?
Yes. Tap to place a marker, drag to pan and pinch to zoom. Nothing is submitted until you lock it. With a keyboard, pan using arrows, use the map centre, or enter latitude and longitude.
Where do the cities and map come from?
The 149 eligible cities use MyTripTools’ existing travel data. Country geometry comes from Natural Earth. The Mercator map distorts size near the poles; scoring always uses real geographic coordinates. Natural Earth.
